MERRIMACK – It’s the first day of football practice and Kip Jackson can’t get into the high school.

In fact, no one from the football team – or any other team – is allowed into Merrimack High School on this Wednesday in early August.

The loop in front of the high school is being repaved, and all the entrances have been blocked off to coaches, students and anyone else who might be in the area.
