Sunapee girls soccer comes back to beat Derryfield in OT

Taylor Usko scored the game-winning goal five minutes into overtime to lead the Sunapee High School girls soccer team rally from 2-0 to deficit to beat Derryfield 3-2 on Thursday.

Usko also scored the tying goal on a penalty kick in the second half and goalie Shantel Camber made 14 saves and got the win despite giving up two goals in the game’s first 10 minutes. Syd Clark, who drew the foul leading to Usko’s penalty kick, had the Lakers’ other goal and Kate Frederick had an assist.

Courtney Dunnells, Kylie Hershey and Sam Rossignol played well defensively for Sunapee.

Gabi Brummet had a goal for Derryfield.
