Sunapee girls soccer picks up win over Wilton-Lyndeborough

Taylor Usko had a goal and an assist to lead the Sunapee High School girls soccer team to a 2-0 win Wednesday over Wilton-Lyndeborough.

Usko scored the game’s first goal six minutes into the second half, off an assist from Syd Clark, and picked up the helper on freshman Kalleigh Durkee’s first varsity goal in the final minutes.

Shantel Camber made 14 saves – eight in the first half – in her first game in goal while Jess Parsons played well at sweeper, helping to keep WLC off the board. The Warriors got 13 saves from Cori Balam.
