The Portsmouth High School baseball team scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to overcome a one-run deficit and win its fourth-straight championship Saturday, beating St. Thomas 9-6 in the Division II final.

The Sunapee High School baseball team had an answer for every Colebrook rally Saturday, as the Lakers pulled out a 13-9 win to take the Division IV crown at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester.

CONCORD – The Bedford High School baseball team was just as good as Portsmouth Sunday in the Division II semifinals, except for one thing – defense.

The NHIAA has postponed all outdoor games for Thursday, due to potential thunderstorms and record-breaking heat. The boys volleyball semifinals scheduled for Thursday at Nashua North are still on as scheduled.
Division I
Jake Mellin pitched the Nashua High School North baseball team back into the Division I semifinals Saturday, while the Bedford baseball team needed some late-game heroics to get itself a return trip to the final four and a rematch in Division II. Wilton-Lyndeborough had its season ended by Colebroo

Upsets were the theme for Thursday, as four of the seven area teams were knocked out of the baseball playoffs by lower seeds.
Division I
The high school baseball playoffs are scheduled to begin Thursday, and the Division I field has plenty of Greater Nashua teams among the high seeds.
Division III-IV
The Souhegan High School baseball team played well, but fell to Con-Val 4-2 on Tuesday. Zack Polio pitched a complete game for the Sabers, giving up four runs on five hits and five walks, but the Sabers fell to 6-7 in Division II.
Division II
MILFORD – The Pelham High School baseball team was thinking about the past late in Monday’s game against Milford. Up by six runs in the seventh inning, the Pythons were remembering the first time they had a late lead against the Spartans this season, and how they needed a walk-off hit to win 8-7.
Division II
The Alvirne High School baseball team scratched out a 2-1 win over Dover Monday in its final game of the regular season. The Broncos scored the winning run on a double steal, and freshman Robbie Flohr pitched six innings, allowing one run on three hits and four strikeouts.
Division III-IV
The Lebanon High School baseball team scored three runs in the fifth inning and limited a Souhegan rally in the bottom of the frame to beat the Sabers 7-6 on Saturday.
