Teams outside top 3 get a shakeup in NHHSSports Girls Lacrosse Coaches Poll

The top three remained the same this week, but everyone else got moved around in the NHHSSports Girls Lacrosse Coaches Poll.

Portsmouth remained the top team for the third straight week, with Bedford and Bishop Guertin each pulling a first-place vote away from the Clippers. But after that, no team remained in the same spot it had in the previous poll.

The Clippers will try to hold on to that top spot this week with games at Andover (Mass.) at 5:30 p.m. on Monday and against Souhegan at 11 a.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Bedford will host Hanover at 5 p.m. on Tuesday before games at Nashua North at 3 p.m. on Friday and at Lincoln-Sudbury (Mass.) at noon on Saturday.

Bishop Guertin travels to Notre Dame Academy (Hingham, Mass.) for a 4 p.m. game on Tuesday and then hosts Exeter at 10 a.m. on Monday.

Souhegan moved up this week to finish in a tie with Pinkerton for No. 4, and the two teams will play each other at 4 p.m. on Monday. The Sabers will also go to Portsmouth and then host Salem at 4 p.m. on Friday, while the Astros travel to Londonderry for a 4 p.m. start on Wednesday and then host Nashua South at 4 p.m. on Friday.

Winnacunnet moved up a spot to No. 6, while Exeter jumped two spots to No. 7. The Warriors lone game of the week was a noon start Monday against Manchester Central. The Blue Hawks will host Salem at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, and after going to Bishop Guertin, will head to Concord for an 11 a.m. start on Saturday.

Windham climbed two spots to No. 8 this week and have a home game against Spaulding at 4 p.m. on Monday, followed by road games at Hollis Brookline (4 p.m., Wednesday) and Oyster River-Newmarket (4:30 p.m., Thursday).

South fell four spots to No. 9 and Dover dropped two place to No. 10. The Panthers host Merrimack at 4 p.m. on Monday before going to Pinkerton on Friday; the Green Wave also play the Tomahawks, at 4 p.m. on Friday.
