The top 20 baseball teams in the Granite State (Week 5)

There have been quite a few surprise teams in New Hampshire baseball this season, and a few of them find themselves at the top of the first rankings of the season.

There have been quite a few surprise teams in New Hampshire baseball this season, and a few of them find themselves at the top of the first rankings of the season.

Below are rankings of all baseball teams in each division, along with the top 20 teams in the state, regardless of division. How were the teams ranked? By using the Heal Point System, the process used in Maine to rank teams, which was used in New Hampshire for all Class I team during the 2009-2010 school year. As with any ranking system, there are flaws. For example, the HPS doesn’t take into consideration margin of victory or quality of a loss. It does, however, rank based on number of wins and the quality of those wins.
