The second week of the high school girls lacrosse is about to start and not much is different among the top four teams in the NHHSSports Girls Lacrosse Coaches Poll.

The rest of the poll is a different story.

Bishop Guertin held on to the top spot after picking up a pair of wins over Londonderry and Chelmsford (Mass.) to begin the year the Cardinals head to Lawrence (Mass.) at 4 p.m. on Monday to face Central Catholic and then head to Souhegan on Friday. Bedford remained at No. 2 after getting three wins last week and the Bulldogs will host Chelmsford (4:30 p.m.) and Concord (5:30 p.m.) on Monday and Tuesday, respectively.

Portsmouth stayed at No. 3 after starting the year 2-0 in Division II. The Clippers will host Coe-Brown at 5:30 p.m. on Monday and then travel to ConVal on Thursday. Pinkerton held on to the fourth spot after splitting two games. The Astros host Exeter at 5:15 p.m. on Monday then head out on the road to face Keene-Monadnock on Tuesday and Salem on Friday.

Three wins in three games to open the year bumped Windham up four spots to No. 5. The Jaguars play two games at home this week, hosting Timberlane on Monday at 4 p.m. and Hanover on Thursday. Exeter moved up two spots to sixth after getting a pair of wins. The Blue Hawks have a tough stretch this week, hosting Souhegan on Wednesday and Londonderry on Friday after the game at Pinkerton on Monday.

Souhegan dropped two spots to No. 7, getting a pair of wins last week before two tough games this week; the Sabers head to Exeter on Wednesday and host Bishop Guertin on Friday. At No. 8 is Londonderry, which bounced back from an opening-day loss with two wins. The Lancers travel to face Nashua South on Monday at 4 p.m. and then go to Exeter on Friday.

Hopkinton is the lone Division III team in the poll after beating Bow in overtime in the season opener. The Hawks, who come in at No. 9, will play three games this week – at Kearsarge on Monday, at Gilford on Wednesday and then home against Campbell on Friday. Hollis Brookline dropped down to 10th after winning two of three games. The Cavaliers have a busy week, hosting Alvirne at 6 p.m. on Monday and then going to Merrimack on Wednesday and Winnacunnet on Friday.
