There was just one change in this week’s NHHSS Boys Lacrosse Coaches Poll, as the top nine teams in the rankings held on to their spots for the second week in a row.
There was just one change in this week’s NHHSS Boys Lacrosse Coaches Poll, as the top nine teams in the rankings held on to their spots for the second week in a row.
Bishop Guertin remained at the top of the poll for the third week in a row after splitting games against Xaverian Brothers (Westwood, Mass.) and Hanover, while Pinkerton stayed in the second spot following wins over Bedford and Londonderry.
Exeter kept the No. 3 spot for the fifth straight week, despite having its five-game winning streak snapped against Acton-Boxborough on Saturday. Derryfield, which remained undefeated in Division II and extended its win streak to 62 games, held on to fourth.
Londonderry had a win over Portsmouth last week and the two teams remained fifth and sixth, respectively, in the poll. Nashua South, which lost to Souhegan in between wins over Timberlane and Nashua North, stayed ahead of the Sabers at No. 7, while Souhegan came in at No. 8.
Hopkinton extended its win streak to 40 in a row with a win over Trinity and stayed at No. 9, while St. Thomas moved up into the top 10 for the first time this season, replacing Timberlane.
