Watch it: Souhegan girls soccer beats Goffstown to reach final four for fourth straight year

AMHERST – Peyton Kent scored two goals and the No. 3 Souhegan High School girls soccer team knocked off No. 6 Goffstown 2-1 in the Division II quarterfinals on Saturday.

The win sends the Sabers to the semifinals for the fourth straight year, and Souhegan has reached the championship game in each of the last two.

Hannah Chick had an assist on the first of Kent’s goals and Mikaela Sullivan made 11 saves for the Sabers. Michelle Tremblay had the lone goal for Goffstown, which has lost six in a row to Souhegan, including the playoffs the last two years.
