MANCHESTER – The Winnacunnet High School boys lacrosse team had been in this spot before Thursday, going into overtime after a back-and-forth battle through regulation.
So when the opportunity presented itself for Jack Ellis to send the Warriors home with a win, he took it.
The senior buried a high shot with 48.3 seconds left in overtime to complete a Winnacunnet come back and give the Warriors a 9-8 OT win over Derryfield, their second of the week against the Cougars.
