Winter Sports: What’s new at NH-HighSchoolSports.com
With every team either competing in games and matches, or just taking the court for practices and tryouts, the high school winter sports season is underway.
And as a new season rolls in, so do some new features at NH-HighSchoolSports.com.
For the last few weeks, I’ve asked readers to take part in a Winter Sports Survey, to help me better cover the things you want to read and learn about. Thank you to those of you who participated.
While a large portion of coverage will be dedicated to boys and girls basketball this winter, there will also be weekly coverage of hockey and wrestling, starting with the later on Wednesday.
New for the winter will be a Game of the Week feature, where each week, I’ll highlight a contest in girls basketball (Tuesdays), wrestling (Wednesdays), boys basketball (Fridays) and hockey (Saturdays).
For basketball and hockey, that means a game story accompanied by video highlights for those who sign up for a Sports Insider Fan membership. For those who signed up for a Sports Insider Fanatic or All-State membership, you’ll also get access to complete game videos for wrestling, plus followup analysis for basketball and hockey games and access to special features on players and coaches.
You can signup for a Sports Insider membership by clicking on the MEMBERSHIP tab at the top of the page.
Once we get into January, I’ll also be providing a weekly look at playoff standings and matchups for boys and girls basketball, and boys and girls hockey. Those features will be available to all members.
Thank you again for your continued support of NH-HighSchoolSports.com and feel free to get in touch by sending an email to nhhighschoolsports@gmail.com. Have a great winter season!
