WLC’s Broderick, HB’s Bergen receive softball POY honors
The Wilton-Lyndeborough and Hollis Brookline high school softball teams both turned in undefeated regular seasons, and both teams were rewarded for it.
WLC’s Samantha Broderick was named the Division IV Player of the Year, and coach Dennis Claire was selected as the Coach of the Year, as the Warriors went unbeaten to win the title.
HB’s Kirstin Bergen received Division II POY honors and her coach, Timothy Girzone, who was in his first year lead the Cavaliers, was named the division COY.
