Boys Lacrosse Roundup: Londonderry holds off Nashua North for 1st win (video)

NASHUA – Trey Campbell scored seven goals to lead the Londonderry High School boys lacrosse team to a 16-10 win Monday over Nashua North at Stellos Stadium.

Campbell also had three assists while Owen Huard had three goals and three assists and Austin Callahan had a goal and three assists to go with five turnovers and 10 groundballs for the Lancers (1-3, No. 10 in the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center/NHHSSports Coaches Poll).

Brody Campbell added two goals while Hayden West had a goal and an assist, JJ Digeorge also had scored and Griffin Cunningham had a goal and nine groundballs. Eli Bettencourt won 21 faceoffs and Zach Needham played well defensively while Broch St. Gelais made 10 saves.

The Titans (0-3), who led 3-1 after one quarter, got four goals each from Dylan Noble and Nico Bottari while Josh Parson finished with 12 saves.

Coe-Brown 14, Hopkinton 4

Charles Frye had five goals for the Bears as they picked up the win over the Hawks.

Garrett Ward added three goals and two assists and Robert Lee had a goal and six assists for Coe-Brown (4-0). Joseph Fenton also scored three goals to go with a helper and Myles Brackett had a goal and two assists.

Landon Midwood chipped in with a goal while Colby Strum and Rorik Collins each had an assist. Jackson Alie recorded nine saves and Xander Ballou won 11 of 15 faceoffs.

No. 2 Pinkerton 18, No. 9 Dover 2

Levi Weaver scored four goals and had five assists to help the Astros get the win over the Green Wave.

Matt Gormady added six goals and two assists while Jackson Farrell and Cade Johnston each had four points. Brendan Carney and Nate Smith had three groundballs apiece and Brady Blaszka added three causedturnovers.

Owen Perkins and Gavin Burwell split time in goal to get the win for Pinkerton (4-0).

Dover (3-1) got a goal and an assist from Cooper Ketcham while Porter Gray also scored. Bryson Glidden played well defensivley and Danny Bretz made 14 saves.

Timberlane 9, Hanover 3

Aiden Davern scored three goals as the Owls picked up a win over the Bears.

Dylan Lindblad added two goals and two assists while Landon Petry, Gio Recesso, Gavin Dubois and Andrew Kellerman had a goal and an assist apiece for Timberlane (2-0).

Bradyn Gillespie had two assists and Lucas Miguel chipped in with one helper while Mark St. Jean won 12 faceoffs and Ryan Bazidane made five saves.

Pelham 14, Milford 2

Chris Swiniarski had three goals and three assist to lead the Pythons to a win over the Spartans.

CJ Sawyer scored two goals and had five assists and Noah Johnson added three goals for Pelham (2-2). Will Jeknovarian and David Harford had two goals apiece and Aidan Cote had a goal and three assists while Tyler McDonald also scored.

Hollis Brookline 15, Merrimack Valley 5

Mike O’Hearn and Sam Petrella had five goals apiece to lead the Cavaliers to a win over the Pride.

Bennett Torgersen added three goals for HB (2-1) while Rome Raisanen and Bryce Cote recorded a goal apiece. Levi Mitchell finished with six saves.

Campbell 5, Laconia 4

The Cougars made a defensive stand in the final minute to hang on for a win over the Sachems.

Matthew Decarli led Campbell (3-1) with three goals and an assist while Nate Lencki and Evan Molino had a goal apiece. Logan Ercha added an assist in the win.

Emerson Duymazlar led Laconia (3-1) with two goals while Cam Lacroix and Rock Londer added a goal apiece. Brady Keegan picked up an assist and Alex Prescott played well in goal and kept the Sachems in it in the fourth quarter.

Bow 16, Trinity 4

The Falcons started fast and rolled to a win over the Pioneers.

Sam Bennett and Wyatt Premo each had four goals and an assist and TJ Ingalls also had four goals for Bow (3-0). Niko Mallios added two goals and an assist while Harrison Fournier had three assists to go with a caused turnover and two groundballs.

Parker Kazanowski had a goal and an assist and Kian O’Leary also scored. Miles Miller was 15 of 21 on faceoffs.

No. 6 Derryfield 25, Alvirne 0

Sebastian Wright scored six goals and had two assists as the Cougars picked up a road win over the Broncos.

Dom Cercone added five goals and an assist and Ryan Maxwell had seven assists for Derryfield (3-0). Garrett Lande and Sam Rousseau each had three goals while Heath Mueller and Vittorio Masoni had two goals apiece.

Alex May, Charlie Rousseau, Mogtaba Yousif and Griffin Kim chipped in a goal apiece and Jackson Hatfield had an assist and teamed with Awaab Mousa Isaac Kosakowski, Parker Johnson, Masoni and Mueller to win 22 of 25 faceoffs. Ryder Proulx recorded two saves.

No. 3 Bedford 14, Nashua South 7

The Bulldogs (3-1) bounced back from their first loss with a win over the Panthers.

South (1-3) got three goals from Owen Roy and two goals from Grant Imbeault while Joe Kudla had a goal and an assist. Max Signoroni also scored and Bryce Stuart finished with 14 saves.

No. 7 Winnacunnet 13, Oyster River-Newmarket 9

The Warriors got out to an early lead and held off the Bobcats in the second half to get the win.

Beckett Rath led Winnacunnet (3-1) with four goals while Spencer Zigler had three goals and three assists and Brian McCown had three goals and two assists. Liam McNally added a goal and an assist and Alec Mitchell and Burke Spalding had a goal apiece while Joel Williams made nine saves.

ORN (1-2) got three goals from Alex Moody while Blake Callander had two goals and an assist. Demetrius Tsakiris and Jadyn Smart added two goals apiece.
